Hand-blown in Mallorca from clear glass rolled across fragments of pink confetti glass — each piece fused into the surface at 1100 degrees, caught mid-turn by a Balearic glassblower working a technique the Moorish craftsmen carried across the Mediterranean in the tenth century. JJ uses this set of 4 at the close table. The candlelight finds the pink at a different angle every time. A glass that changes throughout a dinner is a very good reason to stay at the table longer than planned.
